| Rod Mar is a sports photographer based in Seattle, WA. He is currently team photographer for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer while also serving editorial clients including Sports Illustrated and ESPN. Previously he worked as photographer at the Seattle Times where he specialized in sports. He has photographed nearly every major sporting event including the Olympics, the Super Bowl, Final Four and NBA Finals. He is a popular teacher and workshop leader and has been involved in SportsShooter Luaus, Workshops and Academies since their inception. Rod lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and his two children. "I love teaching almost as much as I love photography, so being able to serve on the faculty of the Sports Shooter Academy is a natural fit for me.
