| Ron Taniwaki, (aka. Bert's EVIL twin) attended UCLA (that's University of Colorado between Larwence and Arpahoe streets) majoring in Forestry.Somewhere along the line he got sidetracked, and worked as a stringer for UPI for 3 years (back in days when UPI kicked the AP's ass on a pretty regular basis - before Mark Terrill). Moving to L.A. in 1981 to work as a Nikon School instructor, Ron currently serves with Nikon Pro Services. With 6 Olympics, 18 Superbowls, 17 FIS World Cup races, 5 Presidential campaigns, 24 shuttle launches, a pretty good riot in South central, and a couple of hundred media events scattered around the country, Ron manages to spend about 10 months out of the year on the road.
