| As a kid growing up in San Diego, I always dreamed about being able to work and travel throughout the United States. Thankfully for the last 14 years as a professional photographer’s assistant, I have had this opportunity to do this while assisting some of the World’s best Sports Photographers from Sports Illustrated, and the finest commercial photographers in Southern California. During this time, I have gained a lifetime of adventures and experiences. However, the most rewarding experiences have come from being an instructor at the Sports Shooter Academy where the atmosphere is so positive and electric. It is an honor and very rewarding for me to have the opportunity to give back the way others did for me 14 years ago. Shawn resides in San Diego, CA with his wife and son.
